I have read the first 8 books of the Joe Dillard series, and outside of Conflict of Interest (not a bad read, but not as fast paced and entertaining as the others), I loved them all, until now.

Sadly I really loved the majority of Judgment Cometh, it was a fast paced, entertaining page turner, though the crime was more gory than I typically like5. The book of Revelation shows that Judgment Day begins after the war of Armageddon, when Satans system on earth will be destroyed.

(Revelation16; ) After Armageddon, Satan and his demons will be imprisoned in an abyss for a thousand years. During that time, theheavenly joint heirs will be judges and will rule. It is Gods judgment too (Romans We must all stand before the judgment seat of God), but God has given him authority to execute judgment (John ).

So God the Son and God the Father are one in their judgment, but the Son is the one who stands forth as the immediate Judge, to deal with us. Jesus summarized the Judgment to come in terms of the fate of the righteous and the wicked: And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God.

And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And.   When you stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians ) to be judged for what [you have] done in the body, whether good or evil, God will open the file and lay out the tests with their grades.

He will pull out all the Fs and put them in a. This judgment does not determine salvation, either. Everyone at the Great White Throne is an unbeliever who has rejected Christ in life and is therefore already doomed to the lake of fire.

Revelation says that unbelievers will be judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Just as God will be giving His people a 7 year warning before His final judgement is poured out before Christs return (when Antichrist signs a covenant with the many for 7 years), he gave Noah a 7 DAY warning before he flooded the earth (Gen.

For in seven days I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. The Bible speaks of two great coming judgments (though we also recognize specific judgments for Jews and Gentiles who live in or through the Tribulation; e.Matt. ; Rev. Both judgments involve people's works.

The first is a final judgment of condemnation for only unbelievers. John relates to those who believe in Jesus. 6 Mar. The Bible declares that God has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth.

(Acts ) This day of judgment, also known as the Final Judgment, is when Jesus, the Son of God, will judge "the living and the dead" before destroying the old heaven and earth, which are corrupted of sin. The great white throne judgment is described Until Judgement Comes book Revelation and is the final judgment prior to the lost being cast into the lake of fire.

We know from Revelation that this judgment will take place after the millennium and after Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are (Revelation Judgment Day.

Also known as the Final Judgment. It is the very last thing that happens before God destroys the old heaven and the old earth, which are corrupt on account of sin. Before He creates His new heaven and new earth, He has to do away with anything that could bring sin into the new creation.

The devil has just been cast into the lake Estimated Reading Time: 6 mins. 2 days ago  Judgment to come is stated in Scripture to be one of the first principles of its doctrine (Heb. ,2). We live in a day, however, when this fact is held in general disregard and often made light of.

Few men tremble, as Felix did, at the thought of judgment to come, probably because few men preach it as Paul did. Forward This lesson is the first of three that highlight the Books of Jeremiah and Lamentations.

The order of the lessons is chronological and thematic. This first covers Jeremiahs word about the coming judgment of the Lord against Judah and Jerusalem. The second will cover the fall of Jerusalem and the Book of Lamentations. The final lesson will return to Jeremiah and look at his.

Paul writes: We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans ,12). Also, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians ).

The Last Judgment will take place at the end of the world, at the second coming of Christ. All who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment (Jn ).

When Christ comes again in glory, his full splendor will shine upon us. When Christ comes back, He will judge the nation Israel, the living nations, the tribulation saints, and the Old Testament saints.

He will separate them as a shepherd separates sheep from the goats. The sheep, the believers, will enter into His kingdom, while the goats, the unbelievers, will be sent to judgment. Predicting the future is big business.

One source estimates the national psychic industry to be a 2 billion a year business. While its easy to understand the desire for a glimpse into the future, there is only one source of reliable prophecy, and that is Gods Word.

With free online versions and affordable printed copies, the Bible contains invaluable information about our future. In the book of Daniel written approximately years before Jesus came, the Bible prophesied that there would be a son of man who would come to this earth with the clouds of heaven.

The phrase Son of man is an expression for a human being (Daniel ). Excerpt taken from the book, The Mark of God or The Mark of the Beast. Judgment Begins at Gods House.

1 Peter says, For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God. Ezekiel 8 speaks of the abominations in Gods temple and throughout Israel. Sin had become so vile that a holy God could tolerate no more. Many Christians wonder what will happen on Judgment Day. The first and most important thing to understand about the final judgment is that it cant be avoided.

Regardless of how we may choose to. Zechariah lived and prophesied more than years before Christ's first coming, yet his prophetic book tells us a great deal about our world of today.

In Zechariah Zechariah [2] Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you.

John might have called the second resurrection, with regard to the godly, who have once before risen to a life with Christ (see on ver. What Is Right Judgment. Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment. As we peel back the layers of confronting sin in conjunction with the Scriptures, we will uncover attributes of righteous judgment.

In doing so, we must proceed with prayerful discernment and humility before vocalizing reasonable judgment upon others. Paul refers to the same idea in 1 Corinthians: Do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of mens hearts; and then each mans praise will come to him from God ().
